About Mark Shparber, MD
A medical oncologist in the region for more than 20 years, Dr. Shparber has a unique perspective of the needs of cancer patients in our region. He also serves as the medical director for the hospice program at Southcoast VNA.
Dr. Shparber earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Cornell Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center.
He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine.
Mark speaks German, Russian.

No concerns or complaints at all. Staff are knowledgeable and caring.
He had no idea why I was there, he appeared confused on dates and didnt ask a simple question " how are you doing "?
Check in is quick and efficient, labs drawn upon arrival, appointments spaced out so in never appears crowded, everyone is kind , caring , and knowledgeable, physician and staff are outstanding, I love going there
