Dr. Baig is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases.
He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, after which he completed a residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
Dr. Baig completed his cardiology fellowship at UMDNJ, and then completed an advanced cardiology fellowship in nuclear cardiology and transesophageal echocardiography at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
He has served as chief of cardiology and director of nuclear cardiology at Charlton Memorial Hospital and chief of medicine and director of nuclear cardiology and stress lab at Saint Anne’s Hospital. He has served as assistant clinical professor of medicine at Brown University.

I have been a patient of Dr. Baigs for fourteen years or perhaps longer. I have always been treated with the upmost respect and caring at my appointments. I personally realize that his knowledge of cardiac disease goes above and beyond, and he will always be able to come up with a plan and a solution. I feel that I am more than fortunate with Dr. Baig as a large part of my medical care.

The nurse, [Name] was very friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as Dr. Baig, who is right on my medical issues and very patient and he listens well and gives down-to-earth suggestions and recommendations and he follows up on any issues that I have had in the past.
