Lisa Sweeney, MD obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester, Ma. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Dr. Sweeney has many years of experience delivering high-quality primary care to patients of all ages and is board certified with the American Board of Family Physicians.

Unfortunately I was left waiting in the patient room for 45 minutes before seeing my doctor. It would be nice to be informed of this delay beforehand. I can see 15 minutes or so but 45 minutes I believe is not acceptable without input from the staff

From the minute I walked into my first visit at Southcoast Health, everyone was kind, helpful, and respectful to me. [Name] checked me in, [Name] was my Medical Assistant, and Dr. Sweeney were all welcoming and very supportive of my care. I could not ask for a better experience. Dr. Sweeney has taken excellent care of me at MGB and I had the same level of care from her and the staff during my visit at Southcoast Health. The Wareham office is over an hour's drive from my home and worth every minute be in the care of Dr. Sweeney and team at Southcoast Health.

Keep doing what you're doing and listening to the patient and not being in a rush with my NP wasn't I had a very good visit
I was not able to see my PCP for an urgent matter but I spoke to a Nurse and was seen the same day with a different Physician. I was happy that I was able to be seen same day and happy with the care I received.
Dr Sweeney is a new Dr for me. She had researched my files and was on top of the next things needed for my care. I was impressed with her thoroughness. She was patient and listened to my concerns. I know I am going to be happy to have her for my doctor going forward.
