About Katrina Roi MD
Dr. Katrina Roi graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Dr. Roi earned her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, RI. She completed her medical training at the Brown Family Medicine Residency where she was a chief resident. She speaks advanced Spanish and French.
Dr. Roi’s clinical interests are in reproductive health, sports medicine, and medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders. Her personal philosophy of care is focused on partnering with her patients to improve their health and achieve their goals. She is committed to providing medically up-to-date, compassionate care.
When not at work, Dr. Roi enjoys gardening, eating homegrown vegetables, reading novels, and taking her Australian Cattle Dog for hikes.

Dr Katrina Roi is a gem!!!
Hallway is very long, difficult for someone who has difficulty walking. Handrails along the walls would be a great safety feature.
I waited an hour in the exam room before provider came to see me.

At a very busy time I was given an appointment the day I called when urgency was needed. Dr. Roi gave me a thorough exam, asked great questions and was creative in prescribing antibiotic treatment. She is a great listener and respectful examiner. She is my newly assigned primary physician and I am thrilled to have her.

The check in for the lab was cumbersome for older patients in front of me. It seemed a bit challenging and delayed the process a bit. The lab staff were extremely patient and helpful!! Dr Roi is a gem!!
Everyone was terrific: the front desk staff, the nurse, my doctor, the lab technician (I'm a hard draw and she was amazing!) and finally the check-out staff.My only recommendation is to change how check-in for labs is done or update the kiosk…it was very delayed/slow and a LOT of the older folks waiting were struggling to use it.
This provider was outstanding. She followed up on my visit that day with a specialist and testing

Dr Roi is a great listener. When asked questions, Dr Roi communicates the answers in a manner that shows she is very caring and that she is understood. ?If Dr Roi would like to open her schedule for more days, that would be an added plus for scheduling yearly appts.
From the moment I checked in, I was shown to an exam room and seen by Dr. Roi in a timely manner. She knows my medical history and is willing to answer any questions I have. She is a 10 in my book. The office staff are always very nice and accommodating.

Got an appointment quickly due to blood pressure issue. Issue was dealt with and meds were adjusted. Building needs handrails on walls of hallways for patients with disabilities.

Dr. Roi has been my provider since 2022. I am well informed about my health. I also know what I need to improve on. This is because Dr. Roi will always tell me about any health concerns. She is there to answer all my questions. She genuinely cares about me. That's one of the reason why I would recommend my family and friends to South coast, especially, having Dr. Roi as their PCP.
When I arrived there was no waiting. I was taken right in. Dr Roi came in a timely manner. She is a very nice person and does her job well.
