About Kaitlyn Egan (Kerr) CNM
Kaitlyn Egan, Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Kaitlyn chose to become a midwife to serve as a strong advocate for women, and provide support during one of life’s most transformative moments bringing new life into the world. Her passion for women’s health goes beyond childbirth, and she loves that midwives care for women through multiple stages of life.
Her philosophy of care is to practice as a patient-centered and evidence-based Certified Nurse Midwife. She is devoted to improving perinatal outcomes for the women in our community.
Kaitlyn’s clinical interests focus on obstetrics, contraception and family planning, IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, STD counseling, and reproductive health.
