About Joshua Medeiros PA-C
Joshua Medeiros, PA-C earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. He then went on to obtain his Master of Science as a Physician Assistant from the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Joshua was especially drawn to orthopedics because of the ability to help patients see results through surgical or non-surgical treatments. The most rewarding part of his work is witnessing patients regain mobility and return to activities they love.
In the office, Joshua focuses on offering a patient-centered approach to care where open communication, trust and empathy are key. By doing this, he strives to create strong relationships with his patients and help them make well-informed choices about their healthcare.
At Southcoast Health, Joshua is proud to be treating patients in the community where he was raised.
Outside of work, he enjoys running and being outdoors, especially near the beach in all seasons, cooking and reading.

Everyone, including front office and radiology were fantastic. I felt as though everyone was concerned for my health and issue. The PA was attentive and listened well. I was very happy with my care and experience.
Support staff was wonderful, awesome, but the doctor, I don't know why I went to him because as soon as I went to him, he just referred me to the surgeon. He didn't go over my MRI and basically I didn't get really anything out of it except for that I have to go see the surgeon. So, but the support staff was wonderful and everyone else was wonderful. Thank you. Bye-bye.
This was my first time seeing this provider I was extremely impressed with his caring and knowledge regarding my injury, he covered and answered all my questions and then gave me extra helpful information overall a very good visit.

Each time I was there, everybody in the office was very kind to me and Joshua is an awesome doctor. He's great. I couldn't say nothing bad. I mean, he's been awesome when I've seen him. He's awesome. He's just good. He cares about making sure you're not in pain and he talks to you. I was very pleased with him and I'll stay with him.

I checked in online and then again at the desk when I got there at 10 for my 10:15am appointment, and I was not called in until 11:20am. Everyone else that checked in after me waited maximum of 5 minutes before getting called in. It was ridiculous. After I was called in, I was out in 5 minutes after the dr removed the stitches.
There was only one person when I first got there at the reception desk. I was in line for over 15 minutes and that's unacceptable. There should be more than one person at the reception desk.

Yeah, I was very happy to see Joshua and I'm glad he gave me a needle in my kneecap and I'm glad he did because it ended up being, I'm fine with my leg now. My leg has no pain. He's a wonderful man. Everything was great from start to finish.
Every one was wonderful. Dr. Medeiros was very knowledgeable and recommended things I could do.
Was seen on time and treated respectfully, it was my first time seeing Dr Medeiros and he is my Knee ortho forever.
Staff was polite and quick, and nurse was quick to call my name and get me in the room to be seen. And I didn't have to wait longer than a couple of minutes before doctor was in the room to examine.
Appointment was taken on time and everyone was very polite and concerned and listened with that greatly appreciated I would definitely come back and recommend someone's in this office very professional and very empathetic great job thank you
