About Joshua Medeiros PA-C
Joshua Medeiros, PA-C earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. He then went on to obtain his Master of Science as a Physician Assistant from the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Joshua was especially drawn to orthopedics because of the ability to help patients see results through surgical or non-surgical treatments. The most rewarding part of his work is witnessing patients regain mobility and return to activities they love.
In the office, Joshua focuses on offering a patient-centered approach to care where open communication, trust and empathy are key. By doing this, he strives to create strong relationships with his patients and help them make well-informed choices about their healthcare.
At Southcoast Health, Joshua is proud to be treating patients in the community where he was raised.
Outside of work, he enjoys running and being outdoors, especially near the beach in all seasons, cooking and reading.

Everything was great from start to finish.
Every one was wonderful. Dr. Medeiros was very knowledgeable and recommended things I could do.
Was seen on time and treated respectfully, it was my first time seeing Dr Medeiros and he is my Knee ortho forever.
Staff was polite and quick, and nurse was quick to call my name and get me in the room to be seen. And I didn't have to wait longer than a couple of minutes before doctor was in the room to examine.

Joshua was very helpful in explaining my exact condition and what I need to do to get better. He gave me details I hadn't heard before and showed me my x rays to explain my pain. He gave me a cortisone shot on the right hip to help with the pain until I start physical therapy for 6 weeks. He seemed very caring and interested in helping me.
