About Irina Merport MD
Dr. Merport received her medical degree from the Tashkent Medical Institute in the former Soviet Union, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine and was an instructor in internal medicine and physical diagnosis. She later completed a second residency in internal medicine at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Mass.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Merport is a member of the American Medical Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Merport knows my mom and my situation of taking care of her. She listens to my concerns and recognized what my strengths are to be helpful with her. She also is aware of my dislike of a lot of medications and has been helpful in finding other sources to help with my needs.
Dr. Mirport is very caring, concerned, and very informed about all of my test results, all of my specialists that I'm going to see. Her staff is amazing, from the girls at the front desk that check me in to the girls that check me out, the nurses, the MAs, everyone in that office is just top-notch.

My appointment was scheduled within one day after speaking with critical care nurse and I was able to see Dr. Merport at 8:30 in the morning on Christmas Eve. To me, this is exceptional, exceptional care and response. I cannot add anything to help them improve themselves because, quite honestly, I don't think they need improvement.
Right on time, the whole staff from reception to medical assistants to my doctor were easy to talk with and listened. They offered excellent advice and made this a pleasant visit.
Everyone was courteous, efficient, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Merport is the best!!

The staff is phenomenal the medical attendance is wonderful. The doctor is A plus, listen and empathic, follows through on referral and highly confident.
Dr. Merport always listens to me. She explained things to me so that I could understand them she questioned how I was feeling after she checked me. She asked me all kinds of questions about my day and what I do and if I was happy and feeling healthy about myself and looking at my labs to make sure my kidney is doing all right, talking to me about my knee, which I just had an MRI and I asked her about it. She explained it to me. I mean, I trust Dr. Merport with my life. She's always wonderful to me. I'm so thankful I have her.
