About Irina Merport MD
Dr. Merport received her medical degree from the Tashkent Medical Institute in the former Soviet Union, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine and was an instructor in internal medicine and physical diagnosis. She later completed a second residency in internal medicine at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Mass.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Merport is a member of the American Medical Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American College of Physicians.

The staff is phenomenal the medical attendance is wonderful. The doctor is A plus, listen and empathic, follows through on referral and highly confident.
Dr. Merport always listens to me. She explained things to me so that I could understand them she questioned how I was feeling after she checked me. She asked me all kinds of questions about my day and what I do and if I was happy and feeling healthy about myself and looking at my labs to make sure my kidney is doing all right, talking to me about my knee, which I just had an MRI and I asked her about it. She explained it to me. I mean, I trust Dr. Merport with my life. She's always wonderful to me. I'm so thankful I have her.
I love the way they do everything at this provider. Dr. Merport is caring her staff is wonderful anytime I need an appointment or have questions I'm taking care of.

From the phone call to today's visit everything was done well!!
I was seen immediately when I arrived. The nurse who took my vitals was informative and friendly. She helped me to relax for a few tests! Dr. Merport spent a lot of time with me. She listens so well and gives helpful advice. I did not feel rushed at all. She examined me with care. She referred me to a few specialist and I look forward to meeting them. I came as an emergency from a fall that same day while I was walking my dog. The dr was not my primary dr. She was very nice. She ordered a shot for tetanus and she had me go to the xray department for a view of my nose that was hurt. I thought it was good. I'm better.

When I get there, you're always quick. I don't wait in a waiting room very long at all. Dr. Merport always listens to me, lights up whatever is needed, sends in whatever's needed. She's quick, she's easy, she's fast, and she's good. She's got a nice bedside manner for a doctor.
