About Felicia Barreto MD
Dr. Felicia Barreto graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Tufts University Family Residency at the Cambridge Health Alliance. As part of her residency, she completed special concentrations in psychiatry in primary care and medical care of underserved populations.
She has been awarded numerous awards and citations including an excellence in teaching award during her residency and an honor for excellence in Family Medicine from the Boston University School of Medicine. She was awarded the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement from the American Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Barreto is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Her special interests include pediatric and adolescent medicine and diabetes care.
She has served as a volunteer staff physician in a student-run free medical clinic, as a member of the medical crew for the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, at sports games at Malden High School, and as a health care advisor, advocate, and guest lecturer at the Messiah Baptist Church in Brockton, Ma.

I have always been extremely satisfied with Dr. Felicia Barreto. I have seen her since I moved to Fall River in 2013. She doesn't have to ask certain questions because she knows me well enough to know the answers. I can't recommend her highly enough. She always seems very informed, very concerned and very professional.

My medical needs were met within hours. The communication that I received from the office was superb, including follow-up the following day, reviewing my blood work and further instructions from the doctor via the nurse.

I was taken extremely timely. The first person I spoke with or the intake person who brought me from the waiting room inside was extremely happy and talkative and she knew what I was there for. Once I was in the room waiting for the doctor, she came in quickly and per usual, she always knows everything about me down to my hopes and dreams for my career. So very well informed doctor and very thorough. And that's about it.
Dr. Barreto is the best. She is always knowledgeable of my health history and recommends treatment plans with my best interest in mind.

Dr. Barreto is very knowledgeable and thorough. I just can't help feel that she's being rushed through her appointments.

I go to all of my routine visits. Something new came up and I sent a message to doctor through My Chart. A nurse got back to me right away with options same day for an appt. The doctor and staff were wonderful, efficient and caring. I was put at ease and understood everything my doctor advised when I left the office.
