About Erin Kopecky NP
Erin Kopecky, NP earned her Associate of Science degree in nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island in Warwick, Rhode Island. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island before continuing her education and receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
She believes that building a strong connection with patients should always be a top priority, and that clear communication with both patients and their families is crucial to ensure they fully understand the information being shared. By actively listening to each patient and dedicating the necessary time and attention, she strives to establish a strong foundation of trust.
Her previous experience in hospice and palliative care sparked her interest in becoming and advanced practice provider (APP). In her previous role as a registered nurse, she frequently engaged in discussions with patients and their families about their care goals and felt that advancing her career and becoming a nurse practitioner would enable her to expand her scope of practice. Erin chose to pursue neurology because she finds the specialty intriguing in its blend of simplicity and complexity, especially as the field continues to grow rapidly.
When not caring for patients, she enjoys playing golf, running and reading a good book on the beach.

I got to a few minutes late and they were very understanding because we had just had a big snowstorm the night before. I was called in right away. And I don't think I spent more than 10 minutes in the office. The doctor is always understanding, courteous, and kind. I would recommend Dr. Kopecky to anyone of my family and friends.

TBH, I didn't have high expectations considering the many doctor visits with little or no answers as to why I'm dizzy. Although we still have no answers, Erin was the first doctor who actually gave clear instructions on how to find out what's causing my condition, with clear instructions.

I was actually offered an appointment with an attending neurologist the very next day after meeting with a nurse practitioner, although it was not deemed necessary, I believe that's unheard of and greatly appreciate the consideration!
