About Erin Kopecky NP
Erin Kopecky, NP earned her Associate of Science degree in nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island in Warwick, Rhode Island. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island before continuing her education and receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
She believes that building a strong connection with patients should always be a top priority, and that clear communication with both patients and their families is crucial to ensure they fully understand the information being shared. By actively listening to each patient and dedicating the necessary time and attention, she strives to establish a strong foundation of trust.
Her previous experience in hospice and palliative care sparked her interest in becoming and advanced practice provider (APP). In her previous role as a registered nurse, she frequently engaged in discussions with patients and their families about their care goals and felt that advancing her career and becoming a nurse practitioner would enable her to expand her scope of practice. Erin chose to pursue neurology because she finds the specialty intriguing in its blend of simplicity and complexity, especially as the field continues to grow rapidly.
When not caring for patients, she enjoys playing golf, running and reading a good book on the beach.

She explained to me to the best of her ability and listened too
I loved my meeting with Erin Kopeckny, she listened to the issues I was having, asked some questions and then ordered testing and a follow up visit. Loved her! She was so friendly and very knowledgeable, made me feel so comfortable.
Before this appointment, I would have appreciated an explanation of the process of getting information about the significance of my testing and the long wait between initial appointment and follow-up. I am grateful for being able to meet with Erin in the meantime; even though she didn't have several of the specifics, she was able to clarify quite a lot and my meeting was definitely worthwhile.

I was taken on time. My provider is very nice and listens to my health concerns.
I described an issue I am having and was told they will do a full panel and discuss my condition with each other. Then at my 6 month appointment we will discuss my options. Pretty cool. Now that is how a great medical team works. Keep up the great system.

This provider, Erin K is amazing. Erin sat with me, she discussed changing my meds because the others did not work and she made sure I understand how it works and some side effects. I am thankful to have her and doctor for my care.

I was late for my appointment and they were still able to see me. The NP made me feel at ease and comfortable. She informed me of options available to me and I left feeling hopeful that I could possibly have my headaches and migraines manageable. These migraines have made me miserable this past year especially, and to finally have a plan in place means everything. Thank you.

Very happy with very descriptive explanation of symptoms, possible causes , a, testing and treatment
I got to a few minutes late and they were very understanding because we had just had a big snowstorm the night before. I was called in right away. And I don't think I spent more than 10 minutes in the office. The doctor is always understanding, courteous, and kind. I would recommend Dr. Kopecky to anyone of my family and friends.
Erin listened very carefully to my concerns and took so much time working out a plan to help me. She was compassionate, knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone.

TBH, I didn't have high expectations considering the many doctor visits with little or no answers as to why I'm dizzy. Although we still have no answers, Erin was the first doctor who actually gave clear instructions on how to find out what's causing my condition, with clear instructions.

Erin was very informed and gave me good advice and also gave me an opportunity to try a solution to a problem that I have. It is too soon to know if it helped, but at least it was suggested and I was able to try! She was very pleasant and knew exactly what my issues were and was able to give me ideas about my symptoms and how to try to alleviate them.

I was actually offered an appointment with an attending neurologist the very next day after meeting with a nurse practitioner, although it was not deemed necessary, I believe that's unheard of and greatly appreciate the consideration!
