About Erika Raposa NP
Erika Raposa, NP earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She obtained her diploma as a Registered Nurse from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Providence, RI. Erika furthered her medical education and completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from George Washington University in Ashburn, VA.
Erika is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who believes in being a true partner in her patients’ care. Her personal philosophy centers on collaboration — acting not only as a provider but also as a support system, educator, and advocate. She takes pride in forming meaningful connections with her patients, tailoring care plans that are both achievable and specific to their unique needs and goals.
Inspired by her background in music and the healing power of voice, she transitioned from comforting through song to caregiving through medicine. Family Medicine appealed to her because of its broad scope and the opportunity to learn something new every day.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys traveling with her husband, riding her Peloton, and spending time with family — including her two dogs, Maggie and Murphy.
Erika feels honored to care for the same community she calls home.
