About Ericka Hersh DO, MPH
Ericka Hersh, DO, MPH earned her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She then went on to obtain her Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Vidant Medical Center at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
She first decided to pursue medical school early in her career while working in medical equipment sales in Boston and realized she wanted to have a more direct role in patient care.
Today, her clinical interests include routine women’s health care and minimally invasive surgery. She chose to specialize in women’s health because of the specialty’s diversity.
Dr. Hersh’s philosophy of care centers on putting the patient first and ensuring everyone has access to quality healthcare. She believes in being thorough and conservative in her approach to medicine, prioritizing careful evaluation before considering surgery. Dr. Hersh values minimizing risks and ensuring that any intervention is truly necessary for the patient’s well-being.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, photography, and playing golf. Dr. Hersh also dedicates time each year to volunteer, traveling to the Dominican Republic to perform gynecological surgeries.

Dr. Hersh was so kind and patience with me. This was my first visit with her and I must say her bedside manner was exceptional! Glad to start seeing a specialist who truly cares about her patients! Her office staff was also very nice and inviting. Great experience with this practice!! Can't say enough!
No improvement needed. Dr Hersh makes you feel comfortable. She listens to your concerns and gives you advice. Appointments are on time. The office atmosphere is friendly. I have been going to Dr Hersh for years and never had a complaint with her or the office staff. If this was graded I would say it's an A+

All were attentive to my special concerns about some of my mobility needs…. like a spinal cord stimulator.
Today was my first visit with my new gynecologist. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She addressed all the issues that I was concerned with. She even read some of the notes that my doctor had sent to her, and I feel very comfortable and glad that I chose her as my gynecologist.

I wasn't pleased with the consultation because the doctor was going to prescribe me a medication and in the end, she didn't prescribe what she was going to prescribe.

I was referred to Dr.Hersh by my Primary Care Doctor. It is always a little unsettling when you have to travel to a new facility for care, but all personnel were kind and were very willing to help and make you fell relaxed and welcome.

It was difficult getting an appointment with Dr. Hersh when she first absorbed dr. Hughes' patients. I was finally scheduled and then cancelled by the office and had to wait another few months. I think that the provider did really well in making sure I understood what was the issue, but they made a strange comment during a procedure that made me feel a little bit self-conscious. But besides that, she was really well.
