About Edress Othman MD
Dr. Othman is a graduate of the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the SUNY Buffalo Graduate Medical-Dental Education Consortium Program, as well as a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Vermont. Previously he worked as a hospitalist and clinical assistant professor of medicine at the Carle Foundation Hospital of the University of Illinois.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Othman is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Oncology, and the American College of Physicians.

It was my first visit to the facility and everyone involved from check-in to check out was professional, courteous, and engaged. Dealing with the prospect of cancer treatment is difficult enough, especially when your first appointment is on Christmas Eve day. But the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They made sure all my questions were answered, my follow ups were scheduled and their professionalism and commitment was outstanding. They made a very difficult day far better. The care they provided is the best advertisement you can have. Patient satisfaction.

Thankful for the compassion, kindness and care I received from Dr. Othman and his team at Southcoast Cancer Ctr in Fairhaven.
This was my first visit. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They took time to explain everything. I also noticed that all of the staff helped each other out. I had an issue with the medication I was given and there were five nurses and two doctors there immediately to make sure that I was ok.

The Fairhaven cancer center is managed well. Blood test results are mostly available soon after having blood drawn. Employees all seem to enjoy their jobs and are very friendly.
