About Courtney Richardson PA-C
Courtney Richardson, PA-C attended the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Driven by a deep passion for helping others and a strong interest in science and anatomy, she realized early on in life that a career in healthcare would be the most fulfilling path for her. Being a physician assistant allows her to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives while offering the flexibility to work across various specialties throughout her career. She has found that her wide range of clinical interests pushes her to pursue the latest medical knowledge in many fields, deepening her ability to provide high quality, patient-centered care.
Courtney chose to practice Family Medicine because of her passion for building long term relationships with patients. She believes that healthcare should be a partnership between patient and provider, and focuses on creating a welcoming and respectful environment. She prioritizes the overall well-being of each patient, including physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
She appreciates that Southcoast Health provides her with the opportunity to work at an organization that aligns with her values of providing patient care where patients feel heard, respected and valued.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, learning new languages and skills, staying active, and is known for her love of thrifting.

She was aware of my health issues and thoughtfully went over what might be the causes and ordered tests to determine the next step. She was very thorough and knowledgeable.

Start to finish my visit was great! The front desk employees were kind and helpful as well as the intake medical assistant! This was my first visit with Courtney! She was fantastic! She was so throughtful and listening and was actively engaged as my gealth care provider! She took immediate action for a problem I have had for years that was discussed with my health care providers with no answers. I was so impressed and very happy to have her on my medical team!
