About Christopher Abadi MD, FACC
Dr. Abadi is a Non-invasive Cardiologist and the Medical Director of the Echocardiography Labs for Southcoast Health. He is also a member of the Southcoast Heart Valve Team/Structural Heart Program and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. Abadi received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College. He then returned to his home state of Vermont for his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Mass. He completed a clinical research fellowship in Echocardiography at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Abadi is board certified in cardiovascular disease, and all disciplines of Echocardiography. He’s a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography.
His areas of special interest are valvular heart disease and aortic disease. He specializes in trans-esophageal and 3-dimensional echocardiography, providing imaging support for many advanced catheter-based and cardiac surgical procedures. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and three children.

Check-in was fast and friendly Nurse PA was friendly and easy to work with on questions she asked etc and was easy to book next visit. Dr Abadi is always great. He listens to responses to his questions. He listens to other inputs from patient. He offers simple explanations. He always asks if we have any questions before leaving. Checkout - didn't have to. By far this office is amazingly organized. I was called right into the room, the assistant was incredible with her portion of my visit, the Dr came in very shortly after she was done, did his routine check up, reviewed my history, my EKG results just taken, asked if any health issues or concerns, reviewed medications I take, he was very thorough. I could not, & never have had a better experience than today's appointment. No wait time at all! That's the way scheduling should be. Thank you to the Dr & his staff!

I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who thanked me for checking in on-line. Within minutes, I was greeted by a friendly young lady who took me to an examining room and thoroughly explained an EKG that I would be receiving. Dr Abadi arrived in a timely manner and reviewed my cardiac history, discussed the medications I was taking and responded to all of my questions and the need for further testing. His responses were complete and readably understandable. It is always a pleasure to see him.
