About Carolyn Davidson MD
Carolyn Davidson, MD earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She then completed a combined focus residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and remained at Brown University for her fellowship in cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Davidson is a strong supporter of patient-doctor shared decision making. Reflecting on the care she provides as a doctor, she thinks of her role as a map, showing the best routes for each patient to take to reach their health goals. In her practice, it is important to her that her patients are active participants in their care when deciding on the best treatment options for them. She strives to provide care based on a patient’s entire wellbeing, and not just treating them for the specific disease or illness they have.
Dr. Davidson has a special interest in cardiac imaging, particularly echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
When not at work, she loves to cook, travel, go hiking and trying new food.

My provider remembered me from 2017. Although I was a patient at a different hospital then she remember all my past medical history. She heard my concerns and fears. She helped me come up with a medical plan. I am confident in her to know I will get the medical attention I need.
The Dr was absolutely wonderful . Made me feel very comfortable. The tech girl whom performed my test was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable also. The receptionist for this Dr was such a nice lady. The staff is just great .

I was seen actually a little earlier than my scheduled appointment. This was the first time I had seen Dr Davidson. She was very pleasant. Listened to what had been going on with my health, asked me questions and set up a new medication plan. Making sure that I was ok with the change. I feel that my care is in good hands.

Dr. Davidson listens without interrupting and she doesn't talk "over my head" about my medical concerns. Her staff that checks you in and staff that preps you for the visit (taking pulse/blood pressure) etc. are extremely nice as well

This was my first visit to Dr. Davidson. She was especially focused on the meds I was taking and made adjustments. I liked her attentiveness, and appreciated that she did not just rubber stamp my prescriptions, but considered them carefully, made adjustments, and explained why.
