About Brianne Castro NP
Brianne Castro, NP earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She then went on to further her education and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
From a young age, Brianne has always been passionate about caring for others. She finds internal medicine rewarding due to the diverse patient population it serves and the broad range of health conditions it addresses. She also enjoys that this role continuously allows her to expand her knowledge and skills.
Brianne believes in fostering meaningful connections with patients. Her goal with each individual she cares for is to build trust, actively listen to their concerns, and empower them through education to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare.
She is proud to work at Southcoast Health and enjoys the way the organization embodies a sense of community while promoting the health and wellbeing of all in our region.
When not at work, Brianne enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and baking.

Brianne was great... this was the first time meeting her... she was very thorough in her examination. I was there for a pre-up clearance and she helped to ease my mind answered questions and wished me the best and to call if I needed anything. She is a great addition to my primary care's office. Very professional and attentive to my needs
I called the office because I wasn't feeling well and they gave me an appointment the same day to come in. They scheduled lab work, chest x-rays and finally a prescription to take. You can't do much better than that. I am very happy with the care I get from my providers.
NP Castro was very approachable and listened carefully to all my concerns. She was thorough and took as much time as I needed to discuss options and needed follow up. I would surely gladly recommend her and will be happy to continue seeing her in future

I travel 25 miles to Fall River. Arrived an hour early and while sitting in car received a phone call saying that Dr called in sick (Monday). A NP was subbed an hour past my original appt time. NP and support staff were extremely professional. As irritated as I was by the cancellation and the then extended delay I do appreciate the effort made to get me seen.

From my experience, everyone was very professional and very courteous and truly kept me abreast of what was going on and the timing of when the next person would be in the room. Everybody explained what they were doing to me, why they were doing it, and the results when they were done. Again, I had a wonderful experience.
