About Brian Costa, FNP
Brian Costa, FNP earned an Associate degree of Science in Nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts before obtaining his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts.
Brian’s clinical education inspired him to take on the challenge of being able to care for the most complex populations in our communities. He chose Primary Care because he believes it plays an important role in the prevention of illness and the improvement of health.
He encourages a healthy and welcoming relationship with his patients. He wants them to feel comfortable to express their health concerns.
Brian is a life-long South Coast resident and when not at work, he enjoys skiing, camping and spending time with his dog Cooper.
Brian speaks Portuguese, Spanish.

This was my first visit with NP Brian Costa instead of my primary care provider Dr. [Name] He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. I definitely felt my care was his utmost concern.
Brian was very thorough and flexible in how he might treat me.
He was knowledgeable curious helpful and made me feel very comfortable. He was extremely good. Keep him around. He knows how to make people happy and at ease.
I was given an appointment that day and the Dr. I saw was very helpful and concerned.
I was able to get an appointment on the same day that I called. Brian Costa was able to figure out what was the cause of my problem. He asked questions which I feel were essential to coming to the diagnosis. He really figured it out and I was very relieved.
Had all kinds of blood work done, chest x-ray, results all over the place, some high, some low, no one called me to discuss the results of all the tests. I am not a doctor and do not really understand what the results mean, if they do the tests, they should inform you of issues!!!!
Mr Costa was great he was very helpful, understanding and gave great advice on next steps and care.
This provider was very helpful and seemed to be concerned about my questions and what he didn't know he would find out or he took his time to ask me questions and what would be the best things to do in this case of my situation. And we talked about different things and he was very, very helpful. He talked to me in a manner that I could understand with words I could understand. Being elderly it's hard to understand big words and words you don't understand and he took the time to explain all that and I would recommend this provider to anyone who was very helpful.
Brian was the best, understood exactly my health problems, explained to me exactly what I should do (what kind of test). When I left the office I felt like a new man knowing that the road to recovery was near, never had an experience like that in your office. Thanks

Because I had to reschedule my annual physical with [Name][Name] I saw Brian Costa instead. I had never met him before and he was terrific. He was attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, asked questions, and listened to my concerns. I felt completely comfortable in his care. He is definitely an asset to this practice.
Greeted with a smile, the nurse was kind, NP Brian was so thorough and listened to everything I said and came up with a plan. Told me to follow up at any point. Checked out and the person (I wish I knew her name) was funny and pleasant! Thank you for a relaxing visit when I wasn't feeling well

With my medical chart and medical history at the ready showing I have no children and had a miscarriage a couple of years back, having my provider say "you must have babies running around" was highly inappropriate. I won't be taking an appointment with this provider again.
This was my first visit with N.P. Brian Costa. Great experience! Brian was friendly, listened to me, took my concerns seriously, explained things to me in a way that made sense, and was super easy to talk to. The only complaint I have is I wasn't able to book with him for next year as his schedule wasn't open in the system yet. 10/10 Highly recommend!
