About Amy Medeiros NP, MSCP
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amy’s clinical interests consist of women’s health, nutrition, and exercise.
Amy started out in primary care before transitioning to gynecology care, which has allowed her to dive deeper and become more focused on health matters that are unique to women. Her philosophy of care is centered around focusing on health promotion and disease prevention, while helping her patients heal holistically from the inside out. She truly believes it is important to share the decision making process between herself and her patients.
When not at work, Amy enjoys doing yoga, running half marathons, and participating in triathlons.

Listened to my concerns and addressed them. Asked if I had any other questions. Gave me the information I needed as well as recommendations on where to find more information online and a book. Medical assistants and provider were all friendly and respectful
Since I have switched to this provider, I have received nothing but excellent care. From scheduling sick appointments, or my normal routine, I have always received absolutely excellent care. Typically Gyno appointments are not one appointment that woman like going to. For me, I have no issues because I feel that at most comfortable coming to the office. And that is the same regardless of which location (I've been to two). I truly appreciate the timeliness, friendliness, comfort, all from the staff. If all doctors were the same as this office, life would be great. Truly thanks to everyone.

I finally feel like I have some answers. I have been going back and forth with my PCP regarding a few issues and never seemed to get anywhere. I feel he would simply dismiss me.Amy listened to my concerns, schedule the appropriate labs, and followed up with the results the very next morning. I recently moved from Texas with my wife this past June. This is still a culture shock as the healthcare isn't very welcoming in Texas. I was able to be my authentic self from start to finish. Everyone acknowledged me by my preferred name/ pronouns. This being my first gyno appointment, I had a lot of anxiety. Amy spoke direct but kind every step of the way as she was going through the procedure. You guys made me realize all doctors aren't bad. I felt validated, heard and understood. I wasn't rushed or overlooked by anything.

I really was surprised at how quickly I was seeing after check-in and how quickly after the intake that the nurse practitioner saw me. I know it was only a Pap smear, but I was in and out which worked out really well for my schedule.
