About Amy Medeiros, NP, MSCP
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. She then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amy’s clinical interests consist of women’s health, nutrition, and exercise.
Amy started out in primary care before transitioning to gynecology care, which has allowed her to dive deeper and become more focused on health matters that are unique to women. Her philosophy of care is centered around focusing on health promotion and disease prevention, while helping her patients heal holistically from the inside out. She truly believes it is important to share the decision making process between herself and her patients.
When not at work, Amy enjoys doing yoga, running half marathons, and participating in triathlons.

My appointment was at 9am and I was very impressed to be getting called in at 9:01. Everything was punctual and everyone was very nice.
I arrived early and was seen earlier than my appointment. The med tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Amy was a breath of fresh air making me feel comfortable and was very easy to talk to. She was efficient and attentive.
Check in was simple and quick. I only waited a few minutes until I was called in for my appointment. My provider was on time which is something I am not used to! Loved it

The NP was phenomenal! She was very thorough with the exam and explained what she was doing the entire time. Great bedside manner! I even discussed some personal/sensitive issues with her and overall she made me feel much better about the situation.
This was my first time meeting Amy and she was wonderful. Not only was I put into a room before my appointment time but I literally didn't even have time to open my book before Amy was knocking on my door to see if she could come in. I've never been seen so quick in my life. She was very thorough, asked open ended questions and was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. I'm so glad I switched to this office!

She even showed the steps of what happens during a pap smear. I'm so glad I switched providers. South Coast Health provides great service. I think I my switch my primary physician over to South Coast. I'm very pleased with my overall experience!

This was my first Gynecology appointment. I was really nervous and had some concerns. My provider made the appointment so comfortable through the exam. As well as, my provider expressed concerns and made me aware of things that I should look out for and changed a prescription that might be causing these concerns in such a quick manner. Also staff were so sweet and saw me really quickly!
I enjoy being with the doctor that did a good job. She did a good job. Very well.
