About M. Wajid Baig MD, FACC
Dr. Baig is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases.
He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, after which he completed a residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
Dr. Baig completed his cardiology fellowship at UMDNJ, and then completed an advanced cardiology fellowship in nuclear cardiology and transesophageal echocardiography at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
He has served as chief of cardiology and director of nuclear cardiology at Charlton Memorial Hospital and chief of medicine and director of nuclear cardiology and stress lab at Saint Anne’s Hospital. He has served as assistant clinical professor of medicine at Brown University.

This doctor looks at all the tests blood test EKG tests listens to the patient and does a thorough examination to the patient and then explains how the results are and what is the best treatment for it the doctor and his staff are very helpful and very thorough

Every one in the office was polite and respectful at all times. Dr.Baig listens to all problems and tries to help solve them if possible. Explains everything in detail about every issue. His nurse is very helpful and listens to any problems and helps solve what ever she can and informs Dr Baig about any problems I may have.

This doctor is absolutely awesome. He's very professional. He's very smart. He handles patients correctly. And he is at the top of the list. And his assistant, [Name] I think she's his nurse, is wonderful, absolutely wonderful. does everything correct.
The receptionists are polite. The doctor is very good but I didn't feel completely comfortable with him, I found him a bit rude.
