About Carolyn Davidson MD
Carolyn Davidson, MD earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She then completed a combined focus residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and remained at Brown University for her fellowship in cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Davidson is a strong supporter of patient-doctor shared decision making. Reflecting on the care she provides as a doctor, she thinks of her role as a map, showing the best routes for each patient to take to reach their health goals. In her practice, it is important to her that her patients are active participants in their care when deciding on the best treatment options for them. She strives to provide care based on a patient’s entire wellbeing, and not just treating them for the specific disease or illness they have.
Dr. Davidson has a special interest in cardiac imaging, particularly echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
When not at work, she loves to cook, travel, go hiking and trying new food.

Dr. Davidson listens without interrupting and she doesn't talk "over my head" about my medical concerns. Her staff that checks you in and staff that preps you for the visit (taking pulse/blood pressure) etc. are extremely nice as well

This was my first visit to Dr. Davidson. She was especially focused on the meds I was taking and made adjustments. I liked her attentiveness, and appreciated that she did not just rubber stamp my prescriptions, but considered them carefully, made adjustments, and explained why.

There was no one at the information desk at the entrance when I arrived; and no one when I left an hour later. Why is it not staffed? This was extremely frustrating…other than that everything was efficient and friendly.

There was an information desk upon entering, very helpful in a facility that houses many different options for health care. Check in was efficient and appointments appeared to be well scheduled. Waiting areas were not crowded, and you were seen on a timely manner.

From when I entered the building, the staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. When I was in the room, the person who did my EKG was professional and explained each piece to me. When the doctor came in she was able to explain everything to me so I understand. Each person took their time to be so supportive and helpful.

Excellent visit, on-time, friendly and competent. Visit with Carolyn Davidson felt very much like a simple conversation about my health and a chance for her to understand my situation while also providing helpful information and offering future care.
