About Daniel Sousa MD
Dr. Sousa received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency program at Brown University School of Medicine/Rhode Island Hospital and Miriam Hospital. Dr. Sousa completed his training in pulmonary/critical care medicine at Rhode Island Hospital, Roger Williams Hospital, Memorial Hospital, and Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Providence.
Dr. Sousa has been practicing in the Fall River area since 2004. He serves on the Fall River Board of Health. He is a fellow in the College of Chest Physicians. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine.
Dr. Sousa is fluent in Portuguese.

I live in Warwick, Rhode Island, but I used to see Dr Daniel Sousa back in 2021. I was so impressed and he solved some issues that no one else did that weren't even in his realm of expertise. I think he's super smart and I will travel to Boston if you ever moved there wherever he is, I will be there. I'm truly 100% happy with his demeanor and knowledge.

The doctor was able to use the computer system to easily acquire all the information relevant to my health.
Did not need improvement. Satisfied from the time I signed in to my scheduling my next appointment. I was treated with care, compassion and well a knowledgeable staff . Doctor asked questions and was concerned with my health. Answered my question without delay. Also discussed options for my healthcare in regard to the winter months.
I liked the way Dr. D. Sousa explained in layman's term and used a comparisons of an old MRI and a new MRI and what they showed. I.
