About Himesh Sheth MD
Dr. Himesh Sheth began his education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in Dartmouth, Ma where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine in Mirimar, Florida. He is currently obtaining his MBA at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut and has completed his Nephrology Fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
His philosophy of care is to treat his patients as individuals and provide them care that allows them to attain the best quality of life and independence all while delivering healthcare that is up to date with the latest evidence and guidelines. He feels that being a physician is an extremely rewarding career where every day you have an opportunity to improve a patient’s health and quality of life.
He believes that Southcoast Health is an integral part of the community that provides excellent care to the community delivering beyond healthcare.
When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, running, bike riding, and cooking.

The staff was outstanding they went up and beon helping me
I love this doctor, he listens, he is fair, and can take a joke. The office girls and I were laughing at something he did and he just smiled and took it in stride, Its the only office I leave laughing. One time I went to his office in a wheel chair....that is not me. That shocked look on his face showed worry and he sent me to the hospital. He knows I am strong, playfulf, jokester, and when I showed up in a wheelchair it said I am very sick and weak. Thank you Dr. Sheth

He was patronizing. He kept saying "I know" when we were having a health conversation regarding cholesterol. He dismissed scientific information I shared with him regarding something new I introduced to him which I have added to for my kidney health. I was so upset I could change doctors.

Dr sheth had provided very professional care and continues to show engagement in my current and long term health. Dr Doriswarmy was also a great nephrologist however Dr sheth is a great specialist as well. I would recommend the facility as well as this doctor to friends
Everything was quick and easy
Dr Sheth is the most compassionate doctor ever, he genuinely cares about my health and listens carefully to all my concerns. as I listen carefully to his input. he is my favorite doctor.
Everything was fine. It was exceptional. Everyone took, you know, just, I can't even explain it. The nurses, the doctor, everything like, and they went through my blood and it was just, you know, it was amazing. I already have my next visit already scheduled. I got my paper of all my test results, you know, my results, things that were done. And I just love it, you know. I love going there.
Dr Sheth is kind and courteous and listens to my needs and always answers my questions and concerns. His staff are pleasant and competent.

He walked into the room with a smile and introduced himself. He thoroughly explained my condition and answered my questions. When we finished we reviewed the information and pointed out each item we talked about and made sure I understood and answered my additional questions.

Very little waiting time either for the provider or the lab. Dr. Shemesh did a marvelous job of explaining how the pieces all work together and how we could go about trying to address the situation.
