About Gregory Russell MD
Dr. Russell came to the South Coast region in 1998, the year he completed his cardiology fellowship at Tufts University. He also completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Tufts after graduating from the University of Vermont Medical School.
He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and cardiac rhythm device therapy and specializes in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology.

The office staff and all medical staff are always helpful and friendly. My doctor always makes me feel at ease and free to ask questions. He always knows results of previous tests.
One complaint not related to the office staff but is there way to implement a no smoking rule out side the office building. If there is it is not being obeyed. There were several people just outside doorway smoking. Thanks, [Name]

Dr. Russell is a thoroughly professional cardiologist who takes very good care of me.
It was a wonderful visit. Dr Russell was friendly yet professional. He asked caring questions and listened to my comments. I was very pleased. The nurse doing my BP and EKG was very nice . She treated me with respect and was very professional. The check in staff are always friendly and efficient. They always make me feel welcomed.

I love my Dr. Gregory Russell. He's always up to date with everything and he always asks me how I'm doing and if I'm exercising or whatever I'm supposed to be doing. And I have had him for quite a few years and I thank God for him. I also thank God for the staff because they're always pleasant and always on time and I never have to wait long for my appointment either. So I just thank God for the whole building of my cardiologist. They're all great and again, I thank God for Dr. Russell. He's been my doctor for a long time and I pray that God will continue to take care of him so he can take care of me. So I'm overall very thankful for all of them. So thank you so much. Knowing how anxious I was about the appointment, the provider was able to move my appointment up, putting me on a cancellation list and moving my appointment up twice as applicable. And when I was seen by him, he took the time to explain things and to basically get to know me a little bit more, considering it was an introductory visit.
Dr. Russell is an exceptional cardiologist. He's always listening and cares about everything that's going on. He's wonderful. I would never want to go see anyone else and his staff is wonderful as well. They're always helpful and caring.

Dr. Russell listened carefully to my symptoms and disussed options with great clarity. I am relieved to have several follow-up steps to be takent and so pleased that he is my physician. Also, his staff were extremely helpful in reading he information I shared via a message in MyChart and also in ensuring that I got an appointment on a timely basis given the seriousness of my symptoms. I LOVE this office and MyChart too!
