About Sophia Rizk MD
Dr. Rizk graduated from Tufts University and received her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Rizk belongs to a number of professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, Rhode Island Medical Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Rizk loves to share her skills through volunteer work, participating in numerous teaching roles at her alma mater Brown University, and by working on many published studies and papers. She is proficient in Spanish and Greek.

The appointment was a bit behind schedule by about 30 minutes.The staff and Dr were apologetic about the delay.As usual, I was treated with respect, kindness and all my questions were addressed.

Superb in allaspects!
My Dad and I went to the wrong building. The person at the info desk took my Dad to the Hematology department in a wheelchair while I moved the car. I wishI had gotten her name. We arrived at 12:45 on 4/18. She is a compassionate and caring person and should be recognized for such.
