About Kristen Prescott, MD
Dr. Prescott earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Anthropology from Boston Univeristy. She then attended Tufts University School of Medicine, earning her Doctorate of Medicine degree. Dr. Prescott then completed her pediatric residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children at the University of Virginia. Her clinical interests include general pediatrics and breastfeeding medicine.
Dr. Prescott’s parents told her that by the age of 5, she was talking about wanting to become a baby doctor, and that dream never changed! She loves seeing her patient’s when they are both well and sick, and she strives to get to know her patients and their families throughout all aspects of their medical care.
She loves the continuity of care involved with pediatrics. Pediatrics allows her to provide exceptional care to a baby after birth, continuing on through adolescence. Dr. Prescott’s philosophy of care is centered around a collaborative relationship between patient, family, and doctor. When not at work, Dr. Prescott enjoys spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and long distance running.

Dr.Prescott is per usual an amazing doctor, she listens, engages in conversations ask my children if their is anything wrong. The overall experience is excellent.

My son was seen on a Saturday. I was so happy that the office offered Saturday sick visits. He was seen in a timely manner and was greeted warmly by all office staff. Thank you for all that you do.
So my daughter is 17 years old and she would love it if there was not little kid music playing out in the lobby and if it had a little teenager aspect to the lobby in addition to the young child.
Everyone was very attentive and made it a quick easy and pleasant experience.

All the nurses and staff are always so friendly. They listen to my concerns and help me make educated decisions for my daughters health. Dr. Prescott is absolutely wonderful. She is always so sweet and is willing to take the time to sit and talk to me about any questions I have. I would 100% recommend her for anyone's pediatrician.

Dr. Prescott is a wonderful pediatrician. She creates a welcoming environment. Dr. Prescott is incredibly encouraging and supportive. My daughter and I always look forward to her appointments with Dr. Prescott.
Dr. Prescott is amazing. She has been right there beside us fixing all of my daughter's health problems, working hand in hand with us. She is always up to date on what's going on and she genuinely cares about her patients. I would recommend her to anyone who has children and she doesn't need to change a thing.
