About Charles Eil MD
Dr. Eil holds a medical degree and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Chicago. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Eil also completed a visiting fellowship in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
A practicing endocrinologist for over three decades, Dr. Eil is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Diabetes and Endocrine Society of Rhode Island, of which he is president. Dr. Eil is also a retired Captain in the US Naval Reserve.
Dr. Eil is board certified in Internal Medicine and in the subspecialty of Endocrinology and Metabolism.

•Collectively, Dr Eli & his Staff are really Pleasant Professionals. So far it's worth the 25min Medical Transportation experience... ESPECIALLY since there were NO longer "local" Endocrinologist, once Stewart Medical's, last one left•The departure came at a time, when SITTING (& even Standing) for almost any length of prolonged time, has "steadily" become an ARTHRITIC nightmare, for me*As far as IMPROVEMENTS go??: Please STOP letting your STANDARD TEMPLATE [jus beyond the Narrative Section] in the "AFTERCARE NOTES"... continue to fly !•The "One Size Fits All" DECLARATIONS do more HARM than good, once we leave the Specialist's Office and continue on our Healthcare Seeking Journey, along with the current Dr's Notes; that TESTIFY to things on that TEMPLATE, that he had NEVER EVER... even: -Checked-on,-Been Told nor Showed, -Discussed nor Witnessed... ...which SABOTAGES "our" efforts while seeking-out Medical assistance, with the next Specialist... in line...and in general, PLEASE, "LISTEN to US... STOP JUDGING us BY the OUTSIDE APPEARANCE... and "ignoring Labs", that coincide with what we are describing !!!I/We shouldn't have to appear in front of Doctors, DISHEVELED to be believed, because, even at our WORST, many of us "Old Schoolers" are WIRED to NOT leave the house the way we feel... and disgrace ourselves nor our families... ...hence "a" reason for making afternoon appointments only, to take the time needed to get it together... ...or I for one {along with others in my age group} would continuously MISS-OUT of every good intentional appointment made and most likely, on many "CRUCIAL & INCIDENTAL Findings"...too*Thank You, for Continuing to Inquire
The building this office is in does not have a directory at the entrance to know which floor a particular off is at.

Making real time entries in EPIC detracts from interacting with the patient. Dr. Eil does his best to counteract this distraction, but you can still notice it. I have been his patient long before the EHR.
