About Tara Bronson NP
Tara Bronson, MSN, FNP, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Rhode Island in Kingstown, R.I. Bronson has been certified to practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Program and is licensed to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Bronson works with all ages of the spectrum from birth to geriatric care, with a special interest in women’s health. She previously worked as a Registered Nurse in Fall River for more than 12 years, starting as a bedside nurse on a Medical-Surgical Floor and ending her career there working in management as a Patient Care Supervisor.
Bronson was born in Newport and has lived on Aquidneck Island her entire life. She has a vested interest in the health and wellbeing of her community and the patients that she treats. She loves to travel, enjoys yoga and has a special interest in organic living and sustainability.

I think it would be great, if a patient is willing to pay for a blood test out of pocket that is not covered by insurance, that the provider should know how much it would cost or have the means to get back to the patient with a cost.

Extremely minimal wait time from check in through to check out. Provider is very thorough and takes time to explain in detail health concerns and establish a plan to move forward. Never felt rushed at any time during the visit. Very happy with this provider and all the office staff encountered during this appointment.

I went in for a vaccine and mentioned that I'd like to make an appointment to follow up on an issue that came up during my physical. The nurse was not only able to get me an appointment, but was able to get me in later on that same day. That was incredibly helpful and really helped me avoid having to miss work if I needed to try and schedule that appointment for later on. Very, very appreciative for that assistance.

Always have an amazing experience here. Staff friendly and courteous. Phlebotomist is the best in all of RI. The staff always organized and visiting this office always a pleasure you never wait for provider and feel rushed out the door like many of the other doctors offices I've visited. You always feel like any concerns are addressed, and you have the opportunity to have a full conversation with the staff.
1st visit to a new PC provider.. Well worth the 40 minute drive to this office. Everyone in this office was efficient respectful and caring. Taken promptly for a 2:30 appointment with no waiting. My provider took me from Stage 3 blood pressure back to normal. They saw me through artificial knee surgery and emotional trauma. I owe my health, well being and therefore, my life, to this provider. Sometimes I think about going to a MD but I am confident with her and comfortable because she is super knowledgeable . don't ask patients to check in online, spend a bunch of time answering a ton of questions and then hand them a clipboard with 98% of the same questions!!!

I've never had a problem with this office. I wasn't feeling well, sent the office a message through my chart, and was called, period. I couldn't get right back to the nurse, but when I did call back, I was seen that day.
