About Marvin Berman MD
Board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, Dr. Berman has been practicing in Fall River for more than 20 years and has been on staff at Charlton Memorial Hospital since 1989.
A magna cum laude graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency at University Hospital in Boston. He received his training in gastroenterology at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. He was an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. He lectures at Brown University and teaches at Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Berman has a special interest in liver disease and has published widely on this topic as well as other gastrointestinal conditions. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr Berman is one of the best doctors I know . Southcoast always been my choice of treatment, I don't have any complains at all.

Dr. Berman is completely present when you are with him, no rushing simply and carefully looking out for his patients best interest. Southcoast need more Dr.s like him.

Very kind , patient, and loving atmosphere by all employees in this office . The dr Berman was one of the best doctors I've seen in a very long time. His through investigation into my health record and professional mannerism made my experience very sure my health was important to him.

Dr Berman was excellent. Waiting room cramped for someone who is immunocompromised.
Dr, Berman and each staff person were very helpful and pleasant. Dr. Berman answered all my questions and answered in easy and understandable language.

Feel like I'm single they did not address my problems they just talked at me not to me they didn't seem to care what I was going through I felt extremely depressed and unhelped when I left

Within a few minutes I was escorted to an examination room by a kind medical assistant who treated me with concern, kindness, and respect.Dr. Berman is one of my all time favorite doctors. He patiently listens to you, offers advice, and provides solutions.
