About the Program
The Southcoast Health Grateful Patient program offers you and your family a meaningful way to recognize the outstanding care provided by our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. From nurses and doctors to staff at every level across the Southcoast Health system, your caregivers go above and beyond to provide exceptional, personalized care.
Whether you’ve received care at one of our primary care offices, specialty sites, Southcoast Health at Home, emergency departments, urgent care locations, or at any one of our three hospitals—Charlton Memorial Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, or Tobey Hospital—every caregiver and staff member is eligible to be recognized. If someone made a positive impact during your care, nominate them as a Southcoast Star today and show your appreciation for the exceptional service they provide!
A donation can be made to Southcoast Health in the name of a staff member or team who went above and beyond to ensure you had the best experience possible. These donations made by Grateful Patients, recognize our employees as Southcoast Stars. Our Southcoast Stars are then given a special badge clip that celebrates and highlights the exceptional care they delivered.
The Southcoast Health Grateful Patient Program provides you the opportunity to recognize and honor the staff and caregivers who played a special role in your or a loved one’s healthcare.
Hear From Our Grateful Patients
After non-surgical interventions just weren’t enough for Janet Cromer’s knee pain, she underwent a successful total knee replacement surgery performed at Southcoast Health.
“As a retired medical and psychiatric registered nurse, I was most impressed with the comprehensive, wrap-around care I received throughout my experience at Southcoast Health,” Janet said.
She was so impressed that she decided to nominate everyone on her care team as Southcoast Stars through the Grateful Patient Program. Sharing her story, Janet recalled the impact each person had on her healing journey.
