About Tracie Costa NP
Tracie received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, in Dartmouth, MA.
Tracie was inspired to become a nurse practitioner after many years of working in an acute setting and seeing the end result.
She considers her philosophy of care to be that of an upstream thinker. If she can get to the root of the problem, many acute and long term diseases can be avoided. It’s not always about which medication can be prescribed, rather it being about the utilization of basics such as nutrition and physical activity. She wants her patients to understand that the care provided comes from a teamwork approach.
To her Southcoast Health means providing quality care to the community. It’s a great place where patients are valued and treated with dignity and respect.
When not at work, she likes to travel with her husband, spending time at the beach and enjoys weightlifting and hiking.

Great staff. NP that saw me was polite, proficient and professional
So I'm always checked in with timely manner and I'm always able to see Tracy even though she's not my provider and they always accommodate for times that work for me and days that work for me and I couldn't be happier.
Her understanding of what concerned me the most
I have been very happy with the care at Southcoast.
I had an appointment with a nurse, just to have BP taken.I told the nurse that I have a deep cough and could she listen to my lungs.She got me in to see Tracie right away which I appreciated.
Ms. Costa has the bedside manner that was incredible! She greeted me with a happy birthday which told me she looked at my chart before seeing me. Kudos to her and Dr. [Name] staff!
Today, I saw NP Tracie Costa. I had never seen her before. She already knew my medical history. She was personable and professional. My appointment today was on time and went really well. It was absolutely the best experience that I have had at this office. Southcoast Health has improved dramatically since I first started. Very happy. GREAT WORK! Thank you.
This was the first time I met Tracie. She was very nice and explained things
Started off as a great visit..the MS [Name] was so caring and understanding. She even gave me a cup of water and offered me a cough drop! Tracie was great, treated me with respect and compassion. This was my first visit with her as I typically do not take visits that are not with my PCP. I now have another option if I need to be seen.
Tracie Costa is amazing. She always listens and I never feel rushed. My husband and I followed her to Southcoast from another practice, and she is the only provider we want to see. More comments on that later.
She was very informative. She knows everything about my health history. Yeah, everything about my health history and she knows how to go about... She's very informative, I should say. And whenever I ask questions, she always has the correct answer and to advise me on how to go about stuff.

My experience was so helpful, very, very professional and showed that she really cared about my health and my best interest and what was best for me. I was really, really happy how fast my medication was sent over, the medication that she felt would be best for me to help me. Everything was awesome and I really, really enjoyed it and was happy and I would recommend this office, this doctor, this nurse to anyone. Thank you.

I showed up a day late for my appointment and they still got me in. So it was very good. I got to see the NP and she was very nice first time I met her.

Tracie Costau00A0was very thorough. I'm 73 years old and I never knew I had a heart murmur. Tracieu00A0was better than any of the other Doctors I ever had. She was caring, concerned about my blood pressure. I felt very comfortable.
Tracie was Very easy to speak with. It was my first time meeting her and she was wonderful. I felt very safe and comfortable with her.

I was Added to Tracie Costa's Schedule as I have an Issue & needed to be seen. Appointment was on time & Can't say Enough About Tracie as a Provider . I had never met her , She was Professional , Knowledgeable, Kind , & I Immediately Felt Comfortable in her Presence , So much so I Would have Switched Providers to be seen by her in the future if that was Possible !
