About Susan Cornell DO
Dr. Cornell completed her medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine prior to her residency at the Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a member Commonwealth Honors College.
During the time between her undergraduate degree and medical school, Dr. Cornell completed research at both Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is a junior member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In her spare time, Dr. Cornell enjoys traveling abroad, going to the beach and spending time with family.

From the moment she came into the room she listened to all my concerns and answered all questions I had and she help set up a plan for me .

The medical assistant was very upbeat and made me feel welcome. That was [Name] And Dr. Cornell was incredibly respectful, thoughtful, and listened and answered all of my questions. She's a pleasure to have as a physician.

Always a pleasant experience. Staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. Dr. Cornell is personable, explanatory and always makes me feel comfortable and at ease.
I've had a few really awful experiences with OBGYNs, and went in to this appointment moderately anxious for another bad experience. However, both the medical assistant and Dr Cornell were unbelievably awesome. I felt comfortable and most importantly listened to the entire time. The compassion went an extremely long way, and I finally feel like I've found someone I am comfortable taking care of me and my future children.

Dr Cornell was a life saver- she came in to assist with my IUD insertion which was difficult due to fibroids, there were a few unsuccessful attempts. She came right in & got it in on the first try, I'm so grateful for her expertise and care.

Dr Cornell is one of the best doctors I have ever met. She is so pleasant and you can see she cares about your health and greets you with her wonderful smile. Southcoast is lucky and so are we to have her as our doctor.
Dr. Cornell is the best OB I have seen! She is very thorough and kind. I feel very comfortable talking to her about anything and she knows exactly how to speak to her patients. She even followed up after my appointment.
Dr. Cornell is awesome. Not happy that I got charged a new patient fee when I have been to the practice before, especially when there was nothing done differently on this visit.
