About Nicole Gifford NP
Nicole received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State University in Worcester, Ma. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois.
She believes that preventative medicine is the best approach to maintaining health and wellness. She utilizes multiple modalities of therapies based on the patient and their input on their care to maximize the patient’s health and prevent illness; always working with her patients and making them a contributing member of their healthcare team.
While working as an RN, she noticed that many patients were repeat admissions. That sparked her interest in becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. In doing so, she could work in preventative medicine and help in the prevention of patients being required to be hospitalized for chronic illnesses. Working in Family Medicine allows her to work with a variety of patients from across the lifespan.
Having grown up in Southeastern Massachusetts, and having been a patient herself of Southcoast Health her entire life, she feels that Southcoast Health means serving the community that she lives in and being a part of its improvement.
Nicole loves sports and played soccer throughout her undergraduate education and continues to enjoy watching and playing with friends. When not at work she enjoys hiking, walking, and kayaking.

I've seen Nicole a few times now when I'm unable to see my PCP and she's always been extremely knowledgeable and helpful during my visits!

Everything was amazing today. I was able to get an appointment for both myself and my daughter the same day, 30 minutes apart. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes. The MA, [Name] I believe was her name, was courteous and thoughtful. Nicole was spot on in her treatment. I was particularly impressed with her hand hygiene, something you do not always see providers doing so well. We are fortunate to have a well-run family care center here in Tiverton. I have always had cheerful attention and thoughtful diagnoses from this office. It is a long drive for me, but worth it for the quality of care and the beautiful beach view. (Also good for health.) I had not seen Nicole Gifford before, but she was excellent too.

My provider was very attentive and spent time to diagnose what was causing my dizziness. She also made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. She also checked my back which was sore due to a fall from the dizzy spells I was having.

As a returning patient, I met with some resistance and initially no call back. I called again the next day and was finally able to talk with human beings! All changed at that point and I was able to secure an appointment.

I am disappointed that I can't call my provider directly. Rather than having to go through the call center. Especially when it's a question that only the office can answer. I have to go to the office to get my questions answered, Luke I did today. It's very frustrating.
