About Michael Roberts MD
Dr. Michael Roberts (Abuelyazeed) earned his medical degree from the University of Asyut, Egypt, and conducted his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in McKeesport, PA. He is board certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine since 2015.
Prior to becoming a primary care physician with Southcoast Physicians Group, Dr. Roberts served as a hospitalist physician at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
He has been a member of the American College of Physicians since 2012. In addition, he taught Boston University medical students in basic diagnosis and management skills of hospitalized patients.

Dr Roberts is the BEST
DR. ROBERTS a special doctor and a doctor that truly cares about his patients. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have him as our primary doctor.
Dr. Mike is truly one of a kind! He has kept my family, my friends, and I healthy for many years. He is kind, hard-working and compassionate and really listens. I also got to work with him in the hospital when he was a hospitalist and his care at that time was truly top-notch, which made me immediately go to him for care when he became a PCP.
Dr. Mike is very thorough and leaves no stone unturned...so I always feel things are in hand when I leave his office.

I've alluded to this before and will again. Dr. Roberts has to be one of the best doctor's I had, not only does he slowly and methodically explain things, but he genuinely cares and tells you things necessary for the betterment of your overall health. When I speak with him and ask questions, he patiently awaits and answer in a caring, thoughtful manner. He 100 percent cares about his patients based on every encounter I've had with him. I cannot say enough about it other than you guys should be very lucky to have a doctor on your staff like him and his caliber!

The one drawback to South Coast Health is when you call the doctor's office for follow up information where it requires a call back it takes quite a while to get that call back sometimes at the very end of the day just today I didn't get a call back at all and it was kind of an important question I needed answered
Dr. Robert's is professional and has great bedside manner. He does a great job explaining details to the patient. He asked me several times if I had any questions or concerns. He knew all my information before meeting with me. I consider myself lucky to have a thorough caring doctor.

He is a gem and and Southcoast is very lucky to have him on staff. Speaking of staff, the office as a whole from check in/check out, medical assistant were very kind, caring and professional. Kudos to the practice manager. It seems like they have a great team that even participated in an office pumpkin decorating contest.

Dr. Roberts is always on the ball, well aware of what's come before, like my recent appendectomy and all it entailed. He even talked about my need for a blood thinner which I'm not crazy about. But he convinced me!
