About Jocelyn Reis DNP
Jocelyn Reis, DNP earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from UMass Dartmouth in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
In her practice she focuses on providing evidence-based, patient-centered care with a holistic approach. Jocelyn concentrates not only on the patient’s physical health, but their emotional, mental and social wellbeing. She believes that all patients should be treated with dignity and respect and promotes patient education to help encourage her patients to actively engage in their health management.
Jocelyn chose to become an advanced practice practitioner so she could make a significant difference in patients’ lives. Her clinical interests include obesity and diabetes. She finds that by helping patients successfully manage obesity, she can help reduce the risk of numerous other chronic diseases and ultimately improve their overall quality of life.
She is proud to be a part of Southcoast Health and is proud that the organization embodies a sense of community while providing high-quality care.
When not caring for patients, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with her family, walking, going to the beach and reading.

I loved Jocelyn Marie Reis. She was attentive, asked questions, guided me in the right direction, and provided me with the information I needed. I wish I could see her all the time but my next visit is going to be closer to my home. I hope the person I see at this new location is as good as Jocelyn.

I really appreciated how much care and attention I received during my experience. It was a difficult situation for me to open up about, but Jocelyn Reis made me feel safe, heard, and valued. She gave me her full attention and never made me feel awkward or uncomfortable about what I was going through. Even though she connected me with the right person to help with my situation, I honestly wished I could have continued talking with her because she made me feel so at ease. Jocelyn truly went above and beyond, and her empathy made a lasting impression on me.
Improvement: kindly, take into consideration when weighing a patient, the articles of clothing they are wearing. That has a large influence on weight measurements.
