About Jeanne LaRock, NP
Jeanne LaRock, NP earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts.
With a strong in interest in human anatomy and physiology, the challenge that medicine brings inspired her to become a nurse practitioner. Jeanne enjoys approaching care like a puzzle, finding the proper diagnosis and determining the best treatment for each of her patients.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active skiing, running and sailing. She is an active member of the South Coast community and enjoys volunteering at My Brother’s Keeper in Dartmouth.
Aside from her work at Southcoast Health Jeanne is on the Board of Missions for Humanity, an organization that provides medical care in remote villages of Tanzania, East Africa and in Guimaca, Honduras.

Dr Larock had amazing bedside manner as well as the rest of the staff. She was super friendly, kind, informative and listened to what I had to say. She made me feel heard and supported with my medical concerns. I'm so glad to have found her a provider.
Jeanne listened to all my concerns and symptoms, thoroughly reviewed all of the recent information in my chart, performed a thorough physical assessment, and reviewed a plan of care with me. I have had Jeanne for my provider for many years. When I found out she had changed to Southcoast, which was the day before my scheduled appointment, I canceled my appointment at Obstrical Associates and made one here. The offices were very comfortable and Jeanne and her staff were great.

My 1st time with this provider today , as I usually see one of the others. I have to brag that the girl who answers the phone was so warm understanding and apologetic of me feeling so sick. She had the nurse call me back and she was the same warm caring and asked me to come in. Iv been to this office for over 20 yrs I will never go anywhere eles I feel special never rushed always feel like I'm the most important person . I love this place. I hope they are there when it's my time to see the lord . I wouldn't feel safe secure without them the dr the practices the secretaries the med tech are the best.
This team of medical professionals really go above and beyond for the care of their patients! I can't recommend them enough just a very relaxed atmosphere where I can feel free to express myself and be understood.
