About Christine Pereira CNM
Christine came to Southcoast as a labor and delivery nurse at Charlton Memorial Hospital in 2004, the year she graduated from Worcester State University. She has been with Southcoast ever since — caring for newborns and their moms. In addition to her work as a labor and delivery RN, Christine has also served as an RN in OB/GYN offices within the Southcoast Health System since 2008.
She completed her clinical training while she pursued her master’s degree to become a certified nurse midwife. In 2012 she obtained her CNM certification from the University of Cincinnati, which has allowed Christine to provide an even higher level of care to her patients. Her expertise ranges from managing fertility treatments, to providing prenatal care, to assisting in C-sections.

There aren't enough words to praise Christine Pereira!!! She is literally the best physician I have ever seen. From her wonderful personality to her knowledge of my health care, she's amazing. I actually look forward to going to my appt with her every year and I knowing I needed to see her for a specific issue she would be right there to help me.
Christine consistently turns what can be an awkward or uncomfortable experience into a positive and comfortable one. She is incredibly down to earth, caring, and reassuring. I always feel heard and supported, and it's clear that she genuinely wants what's best for me. Her compassion and ability to put patients at ease truly set her apart.

Christine Pereira is one of the best mid wives/NP! She is always pleasant, she makes someone feel calm and at ease! Being older and going through a pregnancy has it's challenges and she was making me laugh and it's always such a pleasure when I have Christine, I wish she would always be with me for my appointments!
The staff is always accommodating and I appreciate their attention to detail! Christine was informative, welcoming and pleasant to be around. She came highly recommended and I enjoyed her energy. It was very calming and made me feel comfortable. I would like to work with her going forward so I will be calling my to have the remainder of my appointments to switch to her if possible.

My appointment was at 3:30. I didn't get called in until 4:10. I was there until close to 5:00 for a routine Gyn exam
Christine is my favorite provider! It's easy to schedule an appointment.the wait time is always minimal. She always makes the time to answer all of my questions. I never feel rushed. I've never felt uncomfortable with her, even asking not so comfortable questions. She really is the best!

The medical Assistants are always very helpful they listen to what I have to say and take the time to provide a caring environment. [Name] and the entire Medical assistant team are amazing.
