About Peter Cohn MD
Dr. Peter Cohn is an Invasive Cardiologist at Southcoast Health.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Rutgers Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I., and a fellowship in cardiology at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
Dr. Cohn is an invasive cardiologist who performs diagnostic cardiac catheterizations as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implants in the Interventional Cardiology Department at Southcoast.
He is board certified in cardiology and is certified by the Heart Rhythm Society for device implants.

Explained everything and answered my questions
I've been going to Dr. Cohen for about nine years. I either see him or his nurse practitioner or physician's assistant, whatever, I'm not sure what she is, [Name], and I always feel understood and heard and all my questions are always answered and I feel very comfortable going to that office.
I was seen promptly after my arrival. The nurses were professional, personable and efficient. The doctor went over my history, medications and concerns and was specific in his recommended treatment plan. I feel confident I will get the best care here. He listened to my concerns and responded with kindness, patience and knowledge.
The fact that South Coast is now using AI makes it more interactive with the provider since they are focused on the questions and the answers and the interaction, not on the computer. That's my perception.
Dr Cohn presented professionally and amicably making me the patient feel relaxed for entire visit.
