Also, we are proud to announce that on Oct. 1, Southcoast Health took another vital step in improving the coordination, efficiency and quality of patient care by completing our implementation of Epic — a secure electronic medical records system.
We installed Epic in most of our physicians’ offices last fall, and have now completed the installation in the remainder of our offices, urgent care facilities and our three hospitals. Completing this project organizes all of your health information in one centralized location — in one secure online record available to all Southcoast departments and providers. The result is more informed, coordinated and seamless care for you.
You can even keep track of your health online with Southcoast MyChart. There, you can view test results, request a prescription refill, communicate with your doctor’s office and more. Visit for more information.
