About Jessica Marrero MD
Dr. Marrero earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. She completed the Montefiore Residency Program in Family and Social Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY.
Her background includes extensive work in community health, medical education, and coordinated primary care for diverse patient populations. She is dedicated to delivering individualized, compassionate care and emphasizes shared decision-making to ensure patients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their health journey. Dr. Marrero values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Marrero enjoys reading, practicing yoga, attending concerts, and spending time with her children. She also finds great fulfillment in caring for and supporting the Southcoast Health community.

This was my initial appointment with this PCP due to my former PCP' s retirement. She was very informed, up to date, and knowledgeable about my medical history. I had a very good experience on this first meeting appointment. She had a pleasant personality and we covered many questions we both had. I look forward to having a great doctor/patient relationship.
