About Rita Vieira NP
Rita Vieira, NP graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She then went on to further her medical expertise, earning her Post Graduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing degree, also from Simmons College.
Rita’s personal philosophy of care is centered around providing evidence-based care, while promoting excellent patient care and improved quality of life. She strives to practice medicine that is individualized, compassionate, and evidence based.
When not at work, Rita enjoys reading, completing puzzles, and watching game shows.

Kind and listened to what I had to say.
Nothing.. my first visit with NP Rita Vieira.. she was excellent, listened and discussed my concerns and came up with a plan.. very pleased and said if no improvement to call !
This provider goes above and beyond
Rita was extremely knowledgeable, extremely efficient. She's one of the smartest health professionals I've ever known. She knew more about my parathyroidism than anyone else I've met. And she couldn't have been more helpful than what she was. I just think she was absolutely wonderful. And she's a credit to her profession. And I'm so delighted that I got somebody who was so helpful. And I think you're very blessed to have her.
Rita is always thorough and up to date with all of my charts and specialists and my personal health.
My doctor Rita is excellent and is easy to talk with and understands my needs. She is always helpful with information that I need for my health car.

Rita Vieira RN is amazing! She is a great listener, proactive and thorough in explaining things in minute detail.Rita is caring, attentive as well as professional! It is obvious that she is dedicated to her profession and her patients.
It took 5 phone calls before I was given the opportunity to talk to Rita. I can understand one call to get my problem and symptoms ready for her to analyze on our phone call but most of that was repetition.

My experience with Rita Vieira was excellent. From the moment she came into the examining room, she had already looked over my chart, my MRIs, etc. We discussed my issues and she gave me a thorough examination of my back and potential problems that may be present. She is very friendly, professional and caring person. I would highly recommend her.

Rita Viera is the first provider I have had in a very long time who took the time to actually look at my medical history and review it all with me. And she worked with myself and my son to provide a plan for my care. She wasn't in a rush to look through my medical history and ask questions to be sure she was getting the details right. I just wanted to say that Rita Vieira was probably one of the best physicians I've ever been to. She was very thorough, very caring, took her time, didn't make me feel like I was in a rush or she was in a rush. And I truly think she should be commended for that. And it was just probably one of the best experiences I've had at South Coast. So kudos to Rita and thank you.
So impressed with NP Rita Vieira, she remembered everything from my last visit with her a few months ago and even reached out pre-visit to check and see if my symptoms were similar. She took the time to look into any possible allergic reactions with my new prescription, and while she was busy and quick, she was not in a rush to leave and made sure to answer all my questions. Only my second time seeing Ms Vieira and I am so happy to have her on my health care team

I sent a message on Thursday evening and was called early Friday morning and had an appointment Friday afternoon. Everyone was polite and Rita really listened to my concerns. I am very happy with my care.

She listened attentively to my concerns and discussed recommendations with me to ensure my goals were being met. Rita is one of the best providers I've ever had. She has a broad range approach where she uses her knowledge to evaluate my situation and incorporate all of my medication. I'm on a ton of medication, but Rita seems to make it very simple for me to understand and how to move forward as best I can, is no doubt the best provider I've ever had.
