About Christopher Robertson MD
Dr. Robertson graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, before completing medical school at the University of Calgary in Alberta.
He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and completed several post-graduate fellowships at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Ontario. He also completed a master’s degree in medical science, with a focus on ACL surgery while at the University of Toronto during this time.
A fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, he is also a member of the Canadian Orthopedic Association and Canadian Association of Sports Medicine. With more than 17 years of experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Robertson is trained to care for and identify all forms of injuries of the musculoskeletal system, including joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles and bones. He has a specific interest in sports medicine and shoulder arthritis and is Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Robertson has served in several positions with professional and collegiate sports teams, including six years as a team physician for North Dakota State University’s women’s basketball team. He continues to be a member of the medical team providing support to the Canadian national alpine ski team.
In his spare time, Dr. Robertson enjoys sailing, skiing, hockey, squash and tennis, among other outdoor activities. He speaks French as a second language.

Dr Robertson just gets to the point with no arguments
Dr. Robertson took a long time to get in with for an initial appointment, but was well worth the wait. He was very kind, thorough, and knowledgeable about my underlying conditions contributing to the presenting issues. He was collaborative in outlining options for approach to care, and also realistic about my treatment options, which I appreciated.

Everyone is very friendly but professional, and they all work together for a smooth flow from signing in to getting xrays to going over your chart in preparation for the doctor to do what he needs to do. Well organized office!
Dr. Robertson did surgery on my right rotator cuff in 2019 and it was very successful and I've been fully functional ever since. I trust the surgery on my left roarer cuff will be as successful. He's a great guy as well.

The orthopedic office was very busy. The waiting room was almost full and there were three girls accepting patients at the window, service window. They were very efficient, very pleasant. The staff in the doctor's office itself was also very pleasant, including Dr. Robertson. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
