About Erin Noonan NP
Erin Costa Noonan, DNP, earned her Associate in Science in Nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Before joining Southcoast Neurosurgery as a nurse practitioner, Erin worked as a registered nurse on a surgical unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital and later in the medical and surgical intensive care units at St. Luke’s Hospital, where she specialized in critical care. She has been part of the Southcoast organization since 2014.
Erin’s clinical interest is neurosurgery. Her philosophy of care is guided by empathy, compassion, and a commitment to her hometown community, and she strives to provide holistic, high-quality care to every patient she has the privilege of serving. She was drawn to advanced practice by her love of lifelong learning and her fascination with the constant advances in medicine and surgery that create opportunities to improve patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Erin loves making memories with her husband, son, daughter, and dog, along with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and anything basketball related.
