About Patrick Kelty MD
Dr. Kelty received his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University, School of Medicine.
He completed a surgical internship with the National Naval Medical Center where he also completed a residency in urology.
He has special interests in male and female incontinence, perineal surgery and prostatectomy, kidney stone disease and kidney tumors.
Dr. Kelty has extensive experience with male slings for incontinence procedures.
Dr. Kelty is a member of the American Urological Association and American Society for Lasers in Medicine. He served as president of the RI Urologic Society and was previously a clinical assistant professor of Urology and Surgery at Brown University Medical School.
Dr. Kelty is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Kelty has impressive bedside manner and is supportive of your overall mental and physical health. He clearly explains next steps and goals with a depth of clinical knowledge. I always approach encounters with a bit of anxiety and leave calm feeling grateful to be under his care.

Very efficient check-in upon arrival; appointment started on time; nurse conducted pre-exam discussion & POCT Urinalysis test very competently. Dr. Kelty conducted the exam very professionally and efficiently, and was exceptionally good at communicating the details of PSA testing, enlarged prostate scenarios & followup MRI Contrast Testing as the the next step. He answered all my questions and left me feeling very comfortable with his capabilities and plan for future care.

Dr Kelty is very professional, thorough, and kind. He explained everything in a way I could understand, and gave me lots of options to choose from for my symptoms. Office ran smoothly, admin staff was efficient and very professional.

I am a new patient and this was my first visit to this medical facility. My experience with the staff and doctor was very good. Everyone worked together as a team. The doctor went over my recent test results and explained what procedures are going to be required in my treatment plan. I was also very impressed with how clean the facility was kept. I have had to provide many urine samples during the past few months and other facilities have been lacking in cleanliness. I am very satisfied with my experience today.

Everything was good. They asked me. The only thing is, I do not know the code name of all types of surgeries that have been done. So, finishing that does not mean medical field has a little bit of understanding what the abbreviations are. So, a little bit more clarity on what they might represent. Thank you.
