About Heinrich-Karl (Karl) Greenblatt MD
Karl Greenblatt, MD, a Massachusetts native, earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, followed by a Rheumatology fellowship at the Brown University/Roger Williams Medical Center program in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Greenblatt was drawn to rheumatology because it uniquely blends the science and the art of medicine. The field is fortunate to offer new and targeted therapies that can alleviate pain and dramatically improve quality of life, yet a rheumatologist still must navigate uncertainty and embrace a patient’s individuality.
His goal is to provide patients with an understanding of their conditions, empower them to take an active role in their care, and help restore function and happiness. He feels that teamwork is key to achieving this goal.
When caring for his patients, Dr. Greenblatt’s standard is to provide the sharpest diagnostic skills, knowledge of common and uncommon signs of rheumatic illness, and a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment. Even while striving for greatness, he hopes to bring a sense of humility and respect for the unknown.
When not at work, he enjoys playing guitar and loves watching the Red Sox.

Dr. Greenblatt was very professional. He listened to my concerns and explained everything in detail. I did not feel rushed. I was very comfortable with this being my first time there. When my appointment was done he said if I had any questions or forgot to mention something to call him. I would definitely recommend him.

I was seen in a timely manner. The staff and provider were professional, helpful and kind.
The Dr. Explained out and answered any questions I asked. We are still waiting for more test to come back so he put me on his schedule to return once results have come in. He is working together with Dr. Pathetic on my health issues.
Staff was exceptional, always asking how you're doing, hoping that you feel better, as in the provider, very arrogant, very dismissive, very there's more people with other problems than you and he also said it was a waste of my time and his time, me being there. So if someone wants to call me back on this, this would be great.
I feel blessed to have a doctor who truly wants to help me improve my quality of life. He never gave up on finding a treatment plan that worked for me. He's brought me relief, comfort and optimism in living with my conditions that brought me to him. I'm very grateful to him for giving me great care.

This was the first time ever that a provider gave me a solution in real time. We talked about some of my chronic pain & stiffness and immediately he had a suggestion for me. Before I even left my appointment, we discussed trigger point injections and had them administered right away. Amazing. I've never been so optimistic that I may have some relief. Who would've thought I would be leaving the office after having needles in my neck, smiling! So thankful.
