About William Blair DO
Dr. Blair completed his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine prior to his completion of a Family Medicine Residency at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Vassar College with a Minor in Religion and completed a Post-Baccalaureate program at Columbia University and City College of New York.
During the time between his undergraduate and medical schooling, Dr. Blair served as a research coordinator for the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York State Psychiatric Institute and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill investigating PTSD, Bipolar Disorder and Substance Abuse.

Dr. Blair is always cognizant of my past medical history and has the patience necessary to answer all my questions . I feel like as my PCP he is the leader of my team of other specialists who can see my whole health picture. The only issue is that I should have an annual physical appointment and was only scheduled for my next one 16 months out. At least I was able to join a waiting list should a slot open closer to my one year date. Dr. Blair takes a cautious approach and is well aware of my health history. I don't think a patient can be lucky enough to have a consummate professional like him. He deserves a 10 out of 10!

Everyone is very attentive and kind at this facility. Since I tend to be an anxious person it's always nice to have support staff and a doctor that is as caring as they are. You feel like an individual when you go there not just like another person in line to see a doctor. I would feel very confident referring South Coast as a wonderful option for care.

When speaking with the Doctor, there is no feeling of being rushed, or hurried. The manners of Dr. Blair is calm, relaxed and interested in the well being of the patient.
I always went to prima care until I recently switched to South Coast. I'm very happy with my doctor. He is thorough and he doesn't rush you out to go to his next appointment. He is a cut above the rest! I definitely found my new medical home at South Coast!

PROVIDER TOOK SUFFICIENT TIME AND APPROPRIATE INTEREST IN MY OVERALL HEALTH AND WELLBEING WITHOUT BEING PRESSURED BY ATIFICIAL TIME CONSTRAINTS. HIS EFFORT WAS TO RELATE TO THE ENTIRITY OF PATIENT NEEDS I.E. SOCIAL, PSYCOLOGICAL AND PHYSICAL. HE WAS COMPREENSIVE IN HIS WELLNESS EXAM AND WELL INFORMED OF MY PRESENT HEALTH STATUS.
I walked away from my first, initial appointment feeling very positive about my health goals which often did not happen with previous providers/offices. I was very pleased with this provider and I look forward to my next appointment, which again, doesn't often happen.
