Partners in Celebration
In 2021, Southcoast Health proudly offered two signature fundraising events in celebration of our 25th Anniversary. In June, the Southcoast Health Invitational at Sakonnet Golf Club in Little Compton, R.I., drew a sellout field of sponsors and golfers.
In the fall, prioritizing public safety in the face of rising COVID-19 cases, the difficult decision was made to postpone the 25th Anniversary Celebration slated to be held at historic Fort Taber in New Bedford. However, we look to 2022 with excitement as we plan to gather and celebrate this significant milestone with our supporters on June 17, 2022!
We are moved by the overwhelming show of support for these events, which cumulatively raised over $400,000!
Among the supporters were three local banks with long histories of supporting the community.
  Anne Tangen, CEO,
BankFive
As a communi-
ty bank founded
to support the needs of our com- munity, BankFive seeks partnership with organizations aligned with our mission. Supporting Southcoast Health’s Jubilee illustrates our commitment to our community and all we hold dear.
Nick Christ, CEO,
BayCoast Bank
Since 1996 Southcoast Health has been an out- standing provider
of healthcare for the citizens of the South Coast and a true community partner. Over the past 18 months of the pan- demic, we have seen just how important
a role they continue to play in the health and well-being of our region and how committed they are to the diverse cities, towns and neighbor- hoods that make up the South Coast.
Patrick Murray, CEO,
Bristol County Savings Bank
As a community bank, we are fo- cused on investing in community-based organizations like Southcoast. Many BCSB customers and employees utilize Southcoast for their own healthcare and we are all so fortu- nate to have a community health- care system located on the South Coast.
