Southcoast Health President & CEO David O. McCready Commits to Serve on Advisory Board of UMass Dartmouth’s Charlton College of Business

– Beginning on June 1, 2025, Southcoast Health President & CEO David O. McCready will begin a three-year term as an Advisory Board Member serving UMass Dartmouth’s Charlton College of Business (CCB).

“I am honored to join the Charlton College of Business Advisory Board to collaborate with academic leaders and fellow board members to support and mentor our region’s next generation of business professionals, especially those interested in the healthcare industry,” said McCready.

The Charlton College of Business is AACSB-accredited and offers a variety of graduate and undergraduate degree programs. In the U.S. News and World Report’s 2025 rankings, Charlton was the second highest-ranked public undergraduate business program in Massachusetts.

UMass Dartmouth established the Charlton College of Business in 1997 in partnership with EP “Chuck” Charlton II and the Charlton Charitable Trust. The Charlton family also has a more than 100-year legacy of community and philanthropic leadership in support of Charlton Memorial Hospital and Southcoast Health.
