Dr. Craig Moores
Dr. Moores earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He then completed a general surgery residency at Yale University School of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He sought further training by completing a plastic surgery residency at the University of South Carolina Medical School and completed his final year of training with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at Yale. Dr. Moores is triple board certified in plastic surgery, hand surgery and general surgery.
During his training Dr. Moores conducted research in opioid prescribing patterns and protocols to standardize opioid prescribing. He presented his findings nationally to the American Society of the Hand and the American Society of Plastic Surgery. In 2018 he won the resident research award from the Medical University of South Carolina division of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand surgery.
